A few months ago, my family was down visiting, and Ashley helped me take off the beautiful wall paper:
HUGE step in the right direction ;)!!! Next it was time to paint (this was just the past couple of days - a few months after the wall paper came down):
The above was the beginning of the first color choice, but we decided to go a little different route after we got the color on the wall:
It's a little hard to see with the lighting, and all of the stuff on the counters, but I really like it. And here's the finished product (for now ;):

The next step is to get rid of the yellow countertops, and paint the cabinets! Hopefully that will happen sooner than a couple of months ;) but I'll keep you posted!

Oh yay Car I love it! It's looking great, I wish I was around to help. I bet its so fun to finally be able to do all these things!! Love you and give the girls a kiss for me!
Look at you...you little remodeler! Not only do I like the paint, but I love the way you decorate. Maybe you can give me tips when I have a house to decorate.

Way to go, Carl! I am impressed! I really like the color on the walls - is it grey? You've done a lot of work and doesn't it feel great when you see the end product? Yippee!! Good job!
Carl I just love how your kitchen is looking already. I can't wait for you to do the rest! I showed mom and she loved it too. Bring those girls up soon...Hal misses them so bad :)
