Kitchen Makeover!

So I've been trying to get my kitchen a little updated, but it seems like it never gets done. Well, I've finally made some good progress! Here's how it's gone:

A few months ago, my family was down visiting, and Ashley helped me take off the beautiful wall paper:

HUGE step in the right direction ;)!!! Next it was time to paint (this was just the past couple of days - a few months after the wall paper came down):

The above was the beginning of the first color choice, but we decided to go a little different route after we got the color on the wall:

It's a little hard to see with the lighting, and all of the stuff on the counters, but I really like it. And here's the finished product (for now ;):

The next step is to get rid of the yellow countertops, and paint the cabinets! Hopefully that will happen sooner than a couple of months ;) but I'll keep you posted!

The kitchen looks great. Love it! Even more though, I love that you're updating your blog. Keep it up, please!

How I miss you, Car! It has been a long time. Next time I'm in Heber I'll see if you're around, too. I'd love to meet those beautiful girls of yours. :)

Look at you...you little remodeler! Not only do I like the paint, but I love the way you decorate. Maybe you can give me tips when I have a house to decorate.

Isn't it so fun doing home improvement stuff and making it your own!

Way to go, Carl! I am impressed! I really like the color on the walls - is it grey? You've done a lot of work and doesn't it feel great when you see the end product? Yippee!! Good job!
